Sabriel

My latest piece is a reinterpretation of the cover of  Garth Nix's "Sabriel", one of my favorite books. I know it was a long time coming, but I hope that the wait was worth it!

Done in Photoshop CS5 with Intuos5 wacom.

    I love your drawing! I can't believe nobody has said that yet. <3 The composition is dynamic and engaging and connects well to the story, the drapery and the waves are very realistic, and the textures and background are all fantastic. (The only thing that's a bit off afaict is her right wrist. ^_^;;) I would have loved to see this as Sabriel's cover art!!!
